Trulli, truly should not be missed!

The Trulli were incredible. Hearing the description from our tour guide, Donald, on the bus I wasn't overly enthusiastic. However, that changed once the bus dropped us off and we walked over the hill and saw them.
These are white-washed dry stone huts with conical roofs. They were usually constructed as temporary field shelters and storehouses or
as permanent dwellings by small proprietors or agricultural labourers.

Treated to an incredible feast!
Just when you think you've had all incredible food you can ever imagine, we are treated to this wonderful feast! Local food paired with the regional wines, three rounds of bliss!
The EVOO (extra virgin olive oil) was the lightest, most flavorable I've ever had... various breads, cheeses, sundried tomatoes... this was a party for the tastebuds.... Below are two of the three food spreads they provided (one spread for each wine pairing).
