Simple joys
Upon leaving Rome, we were ultimately introduced to the Italian version of a "truck stop," the Autogrill.
The Autogrill's are incredible! Capacino, wine, cheese...food that most American "Italian Deli's" would serve, all where you can get gas, too! One of the gals and I shared a bottle of wine and a couple salads, very cost-friendly, and was truly some of the best food!
We joked that we all would get t-shirts made "Autogrill Girls"! May need to have one made up prior to the next trip to Italy.....
Our first stop was then at Hadrian's Villa. As you stroll through the ruins you can almost imagine the toga-wearing lifestyle of the past. Incredible. Below check out the link from Rick Steves on the villa, and enjoy the photos.

Hadrian's Villa
Strolling around the villa, one can almost imagine wearing a toga, sipping on wine and being transported to another world....
